Back pain can be so debilitating! We want to do our due diligence to keep our spines strong with good posture and mobile to keep them healthy and happy. Here are a few stretches to encourage wide range of motion and elongated.

YOGA POSE: LEGS UP THE WALL - VIPARITA KARANI

  • Props: A wall
  • Main points in posture:
    • Butt does not need to touch the wall.
    • Knees can be softly bent if hamstrings are tight.
  • Activates parasympathetic nervous system. Helps circulation and reduce swelling from lower extremities back to upper body. If there is only one pose that you are able to do, do this one
